ORDINARY PEOPLE LIVING WITH EXTRAORDINARY DEVOTION TO CHRIST


"I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord." 1 Corinthians 7:35

 The apostles fully expected ordinary believers to live with an extraordinary devotion to Christ. This was not the norm solely for preachers, pastors and full-time gospel workers, but for every single disciple of Jesus. Why did the apostles have this astounding expectation and how does it work practically even in our day and age?
